History Coffee Morning

Our next History Coffee Morning is arranged for 13 November. We’re delighted that the village café team is involved, so there’s the prospect of cake as well.
The theme this time is Stapleford miscreants. Tony Doggett has been doing some research on a former resident, Hector Nayler, and will share what he’s discovered with us. He’s dropped some hints about a murder mystery. Maybe you have some memories to share of dark deeds in Stapleford, or of policing in former years? Do come and reminisce, and if you have photos bring them along: we’ll be able to scan them so that they can be shared more widely if you wish.
At Cox’s Close Community Room on 13 November at 10:30 am. No charge. Members and non-members – all welcome.
